April has been proclaimed Sexual Assault Awareness Month in the United States and we are all encouraged to consider what we can do to raise public awareness about sexual violence and educate communities on how to prevent it. The ultimate goal is to assure that “everyone feels safe.”
These two compelling themes will combine when Ms. James joins us to talk more about her book and her experiences as an author. We will encourage conversation about how we can all raise awareness of concerns surrounding sexual violence and trafficking and how, together, we can promote safety, respect, and equality.
