Allen Eskens is the bestselling author of ten novels including: The Life We Bury, Nothing More Dangerous, and The Quiet Librarian, which won the 2026 MN Book Award for Genre Fiction. He is also the recipient of the Barry Award, Minnesota Book Award, Left Coast Crime Award, and Silver Falchion Award. Mr. Eskens is recently retired from a crimal law practice and makes his home in greater Minnesota.
